  Photos, tutorials and microstock

My interest for photographing started in the seventies when I took my degree in graphics. In one of the companies I've worked in, we were some guys who started a photo group called "Creative photo". Since then my interest for photographing has still been there, but the time wasn't. Now I have decided that the time shall be there, and I have bought a Nikon D5000 with two objectives, Nikon SB 900 flash, ML-L3 Wireless Remote Controller and a Manfrotto tripod.

My site is for everyone with an interest in photography. It is intended to help beginners get started in photography, and become so good at it that they turn into advanced amateurs. But, accomplished photographers will also find useful tips and hints here. My primary objective is to help people like you to take better photographs.

And while you are here at my site, you can spend some time to watch my photos in my photogallery. The photos i take is mostly landscape, seasons, animals, flora and fauna.

Microstock

Microstock Photography is one of the common names given to the low priced royalty free stock photo industry. Microstock (or micro stock) is a relatively new stock image industry aimed at personal and small business use. Photo buyers that would shy away from the traditional stock photo costing hundreds of dollars for limited use in the past are now prime customers of micro stock agencies.

Microstock has also opened the door for many photographers to enter the stock photography market.  In the past, getting into a high profile stock photography agency was very tough relative to microstock.  Many agencies limited who could sell through them and what they could sell.  With micro stock, it’s the other way around.  Microstock agencies are asking photographers for their photos and allowing many amateur and hobbyist photographers to make a good income. Under my Microstock meny, i tell shortly what they pay you.

New in gallery - Copenhagen

I took a trip by train to Copenhagen one Sunday in November because I wanted to take some photos before winter. All photos, except two have been taken with bracketing. This means that I have had the camera on a tripod and took three pictures of each scene and then put it together for just one photo. This gives pictures which are highly saturated with color.

New in gallery - Animals

If you have the same problem as i have sometimes, simply just no idea of what to take photos of, then spend some hours in the zoo. Here you can find many animal scenes, just have some patience and a camera with a zoom. I'm not afraid to say that the zoo we have here where i live is the absolutely the best in Denmark, and maybe also in Europe. I have watched it grow from a little zoo to a magnificient zoo with really many things to see.

You can find the zoo here
